What do we provide?
|
The Centre provides Supported Contact. This means that
conversations are not monitored or reports given. Attendance times
are noted and this is the only information that can be given out
about the contact sessions.
|
As the Centre is held in a house, several rooms are used where
there are toys and games. There is also an outside garden with a
separate play area for small children. A Volunteer is always present
in each room and in the garden. This is for the benefit of the
visiting parent and the child.
|
- Low cost refreshments are available.
|
- Access and toilet facilities are available for the disabled.
|
- There are separate entrances and a waiting area so parents
do not have to meet.
|
- If the visiting parent is allowed to take the child out then
the Centre can be used for Handovers.
